LDJ Manufacturing is a privately held family corporation. Loren is CEO and
Donetta Jean as Vice President. The sons are also actively involved with
Luke Van Wyk, Sales Manager and Chad Van Wyk, Finance Manager.
LDJ Manufacturing started as a side business to support the family farm.
Loren had always done his own shop work and was often hired out since the
beginning of his farming career in 1978. Over the years he has custom built
equipment and made improvements to machinery. This created a reputation in
the community for not only quality work but also for creative and design
excellence.
In 1995, there was an opportunity to redesign a display product for Pella
Corporation. Loren's design was chosen and he was given the contract to
build the product for their National Accounts market distribution. When
word spread that he was doing production on this, other opportunities
presented themselves for additional contract work along with increasing
design work opportunities.
LDJ Manufacturing was no longer a side business. In 1999, to help develop a
consistent work flow with the contracts, manufacturing rights were purchased
for The A-Maize-ing Heat furnace and boiler. The manufacturing moved to
it's current location in 2000 when a new building was built to support the
growing manufacturing business.
Over the past years, LDJ Manufacturing has worked very hard to build its
infrastructure and systems to handle a significant amount of business. LDJ
has worked aggressively to meet deadlines, exceed expectations, and always
have the customers walk away more than just satisfied but impressed.
Additionally, the company is constantly growing and challenging the employee
base to be equipped to handle growing needs. They have developed into highly
qualified and experienced individuals. LDJ Manufacturing is set for a
fantastic future!
